I do the work I do because I love it and I love helping others!

One of the best decisions I ever made occurred my freshman year of college when I changed my major from accounting to package design. I was immediately transported into a world where bringing my ideas to life could benefit the needs of others, and I realized I had found my passion. For this reason (and many others) college was an amazing experience second only to the career that’s followed.

A natural extension of design for packaging, my career began with a headfirst dive into the printing industry. First specializing in offset, then flexographic and eventually digital, I perfected the prepress skills and synergies required to remain an expert in print design for over 30+ years. I deliver brand management, control and consistency through every step in the process. It was the experience of working closely with printers and print customers that taught me the value of being an in-house creative designer.

I’ve remained focused on being an in-house creative designer throughout my career. Those experiences would come to define me as a lifelong learner and provide a wealth of experience and opportunity far beyond packaging and printing. I’ve developed brands from the ground up and became the steward of countless others, all while leading marketing strategy and growth delivering swift, flexible and efficient results. In 2007 I launched my client-focused boutique creative agency Design That Rocks focused on branding and marketing that continues to thrive.

While many creatives have a love/hate relationship with marketing, I (thankfully) embraced marketing principles early in my career. With a proven track record in developing effective marketing strategies, I bring projects full circle from concept to completion. Web design, social media, analytics and (of course) print are framed around vibrant design delivering consistency across distinct media channels. Combining traditional and digital tactics, I develop and implement marketing and branding strategies on time and on budget for sales growth.
